Articulation of thought and language in the understanding of the linguistic statement

Bruno CORCOS, Doctoral student, EPHE, CHArt Laboratory, France

The object of study is the articulation of thought and language, more precisely the articulation between general cognitive processes and language processes. The term thought refers to the cognitive processes involved in all intellectual activities. The term language refers to the processes involved in the comprehension and production of linguistic statements, in particular in the processing of words, of their grammatical properties, and of the compositionality of words and phrases.
