Simulation, modalities and serious games

Antoine GRUENENBERGER, Doctoral student, University of Lille, in charge of Digital learning T-Lipps, France

Since the 1980s, many actors (scientific, economic, military, etc.) have been working on computer simulations of the physical reality of complex situations in order to make them more easily accessible (cost, accessibility, speed). This field of research began with the most risky or costly fields: flight simulators, shooting simulators, racing simulators, medical simulators). T-Prof® was developed with the ambition of pushing this research into interactional simulation in order to recreate classroom situations, with the aim of allowing beginning teachers to learn and work on some of the skills they will need.
